DIABETES MELLITUS (DM) - Treatment Quantum.Silver

If you have diabetes, your body isn’t able to properly process and use glucose from the food you eat. There are different types of diabetes, each with different causes, but they all share the common problem of having too much glucose in your bloodstream. Treatments include medications and/or insulin. Some types of diabetes can be prevented by adopting a healthy lifestyle.

2 Types: Type 1 & Type 2

Type 1:

•Often called juvenile diabetes due to the frequency of childhood diagnoses

•Can affect anyone, regardless of age, race, or weight.

•This form of the disease prevents the body from producing insulin, which is responsible for regulating blood glucose or blood sugar.

CAUSES of Type 1

  • Autoimmune disease, and its exact origin is unknown.

  • Autoimmune diseases = the immune system attacks the body mistakenly

TYPE 1 DIABETES:

•The body attacks and destroys islet cells in the pancreas. These cells are responsible to produce and release insulin.

•Once enough of those cells are destroyed → the body ceases the production of insulin.

•Insulin lowers the amount of sugar in the bloodstream.

•Lack of insulin can cause these sugars to build up, leading to life-threatening complications.

TREATMENT & MANAGEMENT

of Type 1 DM

•Insulin injections/ tablets

•Diet and nutrition

•Exercise

TYPE 2 DIABETES:

•More commonly known as adult-onset diabetes, but doctors are diagnosing more and more children.

•Type 2 DM is mainly a chronic condition:

•The body either begins to resist insulin or stops producing enough insulin to maintain normal blood glucose levels.

CAUSES OF TYPE 2 DM:

Several predisposing factors can cause type 2 diabetes:

•obesity

•unhealthy eating habits

•modern sedentary lifestyle

•genetics

SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS

If the body isn’t producing the correct amount of insulin to absorb glucose:

•Fatigue

•Increased need to urinate

•Increased level of thirst

•Increased susceptibility to yeast infections.

Unfortunately, most people consider these symptoms parts of everyday life and do not see a doctor.

COMPLICATIONS

If type 2 diabetes goes undiagnosed for too long:

•High blood sugar levels can damage the heart, kidneys, eyes, and feet.

•Reduced blood flow to legs which may lead to gangrene which may result in needing amputation

•Slower healing of wounds, infections etc

MANAGEMENT

Healthy changes include:

•Choosing lower-fat foods

•30 to 60 minutes of exercise a day (Exercise may make cells more sensitive to insulin)

•Losing weight

•Avoiding being sedentary for long periods.

QS FOR TYPE 2 DIABETES

•Recent studies noticed that AgNP’s (Silver nano particles) exhibit antidiabetic potential.

•AgNP’s could activate protein kinase C and PI3K pathway at the insulin receptor substrate level, as well as inhibit protein kinase C isozymes, thus effectively enhance insulin secretion and sensitivity.

AgNP’s were effective in reducing insulin resistance and DNA damage

TREATMENT with QUANTUM.SILVER

•Take QS 2x daily for 2-8 weeks.

•Always check blood glucose levels

On wounds: Apply the spray or the gel, 2-4 times/ day

•Do not stop your medication while you are drinking Quantum.Silver.

•Some people could stop medication after being on Quantum.Silver for a few weeks.
